My name is Roy Ciofalo. When I'm not behind the lens, I'm putting out fires on behalf of New York's bravest. My fascination with photography started when my daughter was born. It was so unbelievable to have this little life in my hands and I wanted to capture every moment as she grew, to record her story as it unfolded. I'm not a writer by any stretch of the imagination but I don't think that of 'a picture is worth a thousand words' as just an old adage. Images communicate emotion, freezing a reality in time and saving the present, so that you can savor it in the future.
So, It's the big day! And after all the preparation, the venue search, rehearsals, tastings, argume--uh, loving debates, the dress (and the tux too) it seems like it's over in a flash. It's a blur, from the dressing room to the aisle to the altar, from a bundle of nerves to unspeakable joy. But what about the moments in between? The soft touches, small smirks and deep looks, everything that makes it matter most, what's left after all the celebration. This is your story, through my lens. I capture the memories so you can just live in the moment on one of the happiest days of your life.
